Over the course of their careers Equip's GP's have made venture investment and entrepreneurial decisions on over 20 companies including four in which they have taken equity stakes in since the formation of Equip Ventures. Equip's GP's have added significant value and at times have taken on executive roles at these companies to ensure their ability to reach their milestones. This is emblematic is Equip's hands-on very active investment approach.

Wasabi Systems

Wasabi Systems is an embedded OS developer focused on the embedded storage systems market. An Equip GP invested at the seed stage and worked closely with management in developing the business plan and converting from a services to a productized business model. To-date Wasabi has signed contracts with over 10 major customers, received an investment from Intel Capital has grown to 45 team-members and $2 Million + in revenues, brought on a new CEO with a track record in the space and is primed for further growth.

Aspeed Software

Aspeed Software (Formerly Powerllel Corp.) is a parallel computing software developer focusing initially on the financial services space. An Equip GP invested at the seed stage and worked closely with management in developing the business plan, securing initial customers and closing a $5.6 Million Series A led by Kodiak Venture Partners and Castile Ventures and preparing the groundwork for recruiting a senior industry executive team. To-date Aspeed has signed contracts with significant financial services and pharmaceutical companies and is primed for further growth.

eZore Systems

eZore Systems is developing the next generation services platform for outdoor wireless municipal broadband networks. An Equip Ventures GP made a pre-seed stage investment and is serving as Chairman and Seed Stage CEO of eZore. The Company was selected for DEMOmobile 2004, has been selected as Red Herring Top 100 Innovator for 2005, is recruiting a top-tier management team and will be launching its next Financing Round in once it achieves certain milestones.
